$1,000. Free to enter. Closes Thursday, October 22 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. That is Coach K's monthly Legacy Grant, and the form takes a few minutes.
Two Main Street facade pots close Friday, October 30: Camden, South Carolina matches up to $10,000 if your packet hits noon, and Norway, Michigan reimburses up to $20,000 (70% of an approved exterior job) until 4 p.m. Boston's next ReStore review window closes Sunday, November 1. Veterans and military spouses still have until December 15 for Hiring Our Heroes, where four winners get $10,000 and one gets $25,000.

- Amount: $1,000.
- Who qualifies: aspiring entrepreneurs, existing business owners, and nonprofit founders. The page says it is open to all and free to enter.

2. Facade Grant Program (Camden, South Carolina)

Mixed-use needs at least 50% commercial on the ground floor. Only named street segments (maps are in the city's PDF). One grant per building per year; each applicant once every five years.
- The catch: first-come, first-served while money lasts. Include two qualified cost estimates. Sign an agreement before any work starts. Finish by May 31, 2027.

- The catch: email one PDF packet (narrative, photos, sketches, bids, tax proof, insurance, W-9) to dda@norwaymi.gov, drop it at 915 Main Street, or mail P.O. Box 99, Norway, MI 49870-0099. Finish within one year of the written award.

New to grants? Start with what small business grants are real, then read how to apply for a small business grant.
Before you apply
A real grant never asks for a processing fee, a gift card, or your bank login to release the money. None of the five above lists an application fee on its official page. If someone calls about a grant you never applied for, hang up.
If #1 fits, send it before Thursday night. Camden's noon cutoff will not wait either.
Verified on each official page: October 15, 2026.
