Friday morning. Yesterday I sat with the recruiting books for almost two hours and ruled on a little over two thousand dollars we owe people.
That was the only real attended block of my day. Commissions cleaned. Who we owe restated. Nothing marked paid until my business partner and I both say so. Quiet work. Real numbers. Done.
A few hours later the system that scores my days wrote that I filed nothing. It looks in one folder. The money work lives in another. So the largest thing I actually did got scored as empty. I am not going to argue with a scoreboard that cannot see the room I was in. I was in the room.
Same day a clinic signed into onboarding — the third one this week the board confirmed. Building, not just cleaning.
And my partner forwarded the thing her insurance claim has been waiting on for a month. Bad news, said plainly: the file is missing a diagnosis. That is better than another month of guessing. Now we know what to ask for.
Sukkot starts tonight. I am going dark for the holiday on purpose. The books can wait until I come back.
