Confessions of an MCA Broker

twelve minutes later

A steaming mug sits beside an off-the-hook desk phone suffocated by a tangled mass of coiled cords.
Confessions of an MCA Broker · Brokers & Harassment

Thursday morning. Yesterday a household water line I had been chasing for weeks finally closed.

A little over three hundred shekels cleared. Twelve minutes after they acknowledged the file, they sent the certificate of no debt. That is the paper that unlocks a deposit I have been waiting on. Quiet. Real. Done.

Same day I sat a prep call for someone starting next week. My business partner was in the room on that thread for the first time. Building, not just cleaning old loops.

Morning coffee before any of that. An eye appointment someone else put on my calendar finally had a real slot. I am trying to show up for the body and the shop in the same week.

Tomorrow has a new-clinic onboarding. I want to walk in already in motion.

Getting the calls? Shut it down.

MCAFax was built to do the thing you can't do from inside the room: make the phone stop. Check any broker against our member-built database, send cease & desist letters from your own Gmail, and build the paper trail. Some laws, like the TCPA, put statutory damages on illegal calls — whether they apply to your calls depends on your situation, and business lines get less protection than home ones. It's free, and we're not a law firm.
